Who links to the domain, and what the domain already ranks for

netweft is a backlink checker and domain overview for your domain or a competitor's, priced per lookup. Point netweft at a domain and it answers the questions you would otherwise assemble by hand: what it ranks for, which of its pages carry that traffic, who links to it, how many distinct domains those links come from, and what it links out to. It works the same on a competitor as on your own site.

Priced per call, and cached

Every domain and backlink lookup is a vendor call with a price on it. Responses are cached in Workers KV and every paid endpoint is rate limited per workspace, so switching from the offline mock provider to real data does not uncap spend.

The overview is two calls, and says so

A domain overview is a Labs rank overview plus a backlinks summary, summed. 362 credits is those two calls, not a number chosen to look round. Where a figure is the sum of vendor calls, the rate card says which calls.

The same port, whichever provider is behind it

The data provider sits behind a port. In the default mock mode the whole product runs offline on deterministic fixtures with no vendor account at all; in DataForSEO mode it buys real data. Nothing above the port knows which one answered, which is what makes the offline mode a real development surface rather than a demo.
