# Technical SEO site audit, ranked by severity

netweft's site audit is a technical SEO crawler: it finds broken internal links, redirect chains and on-page issues, and ranks them by severity. The audit is netweft's own crawler rather than a vendor's. It reads robots.txt and honours it, walks the site up to the plan's page ceiling, classifies what it finds, and reports issues by severity so the list is worked from the top rather than read end to end.

## Our crawler, so the cost is compute and not vendor spend

A crawled page costs one credit. That credit covers netweft's own compute and bandwidth — there is no vendor invoice behind it. It is also the single biggest driver of infrastructure cost in the product, which is why the per-run page ceiling is a plan limit rather than an unbounded setting.

## The performance check is opt-in, and priced where you can see it

A Lighthouse pass costs 50 credits a page against $0.005 of vendor cost. netweft measures a sample rather than every crawled page, the start URL and one page per URL shape up to 10, so the pass adds at most 500 credits to an audit. It is opt-in per audit, and the number is stated here rather than discovered in a ledger afterwards.

## Severity, so the list has a top

Findings are classified rather than listed. An audit that returns four hundred equal-weight items is a backlog nobody starts; an audit that ranks them is a morning's work.

## What it costs

| Operation | Basis | Credits |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Crawled page | per page | 1 |
| Performance check | per page, opt-in per audit | 50 |
