# Keyword rank tracker with stored history

> Keyword rank tracking on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule or on demand, with every check stored as a snapshot rather than recomputed.

netweft is a keyword rank tracker: it checks a domain's positions daily, weekly, monthly or on demand, and keeps every check as a dated observation. A project names one domain and a set of keywords to watch. A background worker checks them on a schedule, and you can run a check by hand whenever you want one. Every check writes a snapshot: the position seen, the URL that held it, and the moment it was seen. The history is the list of those snapshots.

## Snapshots, not recomputation

The distinction matters the first time a number disagrees with your memory. A tracker that recomputes history from today's index can quietly rewrite what you saw last Tuesday. netweft stores each observation as it was taken, so last Tuesday's row is last Tuesday's row, and a change in the record means the SERP changed rather than the model did.

## Not ranking is a value, not a gap

A keyword that did not rank is stored and drawn as a category called not ranking. It is never a zero, never an empty cell, and never a line that skips across the missing week. A zero means position zero; a gap means the check did not run. Neither is what happened.

## Search Console sits beside it, per project

Search Console and GA4 connect per project with read-only scopes, requested when the integration is connected rather than at sign-in. Granting access is account-wide and choosing a property is per project, which is why netweft keeps them as two steps: a control that sometimes does one and sometimes both is why these flows feel broken elsewhere.

## What it costs

| Operation | Basis | Credits |
| --- | --- | --- |
| SERP page | per 10 results, per keyword, per device | 20 |
